We take pride in our hiking product reviews with expert scoring and objective testing methods. We purchase all products with our own money and personally test them in various conditions.  We take pride in testing our products unlike any other review site, our methods are not copied from any other review site, our pictures are taken over months of testing. When we review a product, we make sure we put our maximum effort into each review for you to make the best decision possible. We also provide head to head comparisons between hiking gear to further help you choose. 

We do not accept any free products and/or endorsements. Any money we make are from affiliate links which in which we receive a small commission at no extra cost to you. This helps us fund our hiking gear reviews.

Our Founder

Tyler brings over 15+ years of experience in the outdoors, having participated in numerous courses and certifications in Mountaineering, Survival , and much more. As a Mountain Guide and Expert Outdoorsman he has dedicated his time to nature. Tyler's extensive knowledge and hands-on experience make him a trusted authority in the world of the Outdoors.

The majority of information on this site consists of How-To guides, providing you with the most accurate and professional information with first-hand expertise.

Additionally, our Product Reviews are all hand-tested, with countless hours of research and hands-on evaluation.
