In this article, I'm going to share my HONEST Farm To Feet Damascus Light Targeted Cushion review for those who are wondering whether they are WORTH IT in 2024. The Farm To Feet Brand has been around for quite some time, come find out if the Damascus Light is worth it. 

For this review, I have put in several hours of hiking testing the Farm To Feet Damascus hiking socks, I mainly tested these hiking socks with my Merrell Moab 3 and Keen Targhee IV. I'll go over Comfort, Warmth, Breathability, and Durability. 

I'll be sharing my critical opinion with 10 years of experience as a trail guide and experienced hiker.

Farm To Feet Light Targeted Cushion Comfort: 8.5/10

I was pleasantly Surprised by the amount of comfort the Farm To Feet Damascus had. For such a lightweight hiking sock,  they display a great amount of comfort. Most lightweight hiking socks skimp out on the comfort part, but not any socks made by Farm To Feet. 

When putting on these socks, you immediately feel the Merino wool blend that is quite soft compared to other Merino Wool socks. The Merino wool is constructed with ultra fine 19.5 micron yarn with nylon reinforcements for increased durability.

 We went on 10+ mile treks with these hiking socks throughout the summer and the colder fall months I didn’t experience any extra blistering or issues that you may run into with ultra thin hiking socks. To say, I was impressed and shocked by the level of comfort for such lightweight hiking socks is an understatement. 

Warmth 8/10

I did not expect to have a great amount of warmth with “Light Targeted Cushion” in the name of the product. Although we did test this in 30° weather and they held up decently. You can get by with hiking with these socks in the colder months but there are better options out there. 

Consider the fact that these are more “active wear”  type hiking socks. This would be an excellent option for trail running in colder months, while moving at such a fast speed you won't even notice the need to keep yourself warm with thicker socks. 

Breathability 10/10

This is where our Farm To Feet hiking sock shines, with the way these hiking socks are crafted with their merino wool proprietary blend,  it offers amazing moisture wicking especially during the summer months. 

We tested these while hiking in 90° weather and did not expect how breathable they really are. The wool is crafted so specifically for you to have enhanced moisture wicking and a great ventilation system while out on the trails. Most merino wool socks are not this breathable. Farm To Feet has really done a great job creating such an active wear hiking sock. 

Durability 9/10

Most lightweight socks tend to wear quickly rather than the thicker merino wool blends. Farm To Feet has done an excellent job with their damascus light targeted cushion crafting nylon reinforcements within the merino wool to increase its durability. 

After hiking over 30 Miles with these pair of hiking socks we haven't noticed anywhere to tear. there's a slight pulling from the heel insertion but no true rips or tears. I was pleasantly surprised with the durability of this pair. If you're looking for a pair of activewear hiking socks that will LAST these are the ones to go after.

Is The Farm To Feet Damascus Light Targeted Cushion Worth It?

These are definitely worth it,  it definitely lives up to its name “light targeted cushion”. These hiking socks were surprisingly comfortable for such an activewear pair. I would say they have amazing value for such a versatile performing sock. The breathability and wicking ability is second to not therefore making these an ideal summer hiking sock. I would also suggest using these for trail runners as they can fit Into a narrow shoe without taking up much space at all!
